Some of the work that showcases well on the web are
art, poetry, essays, stories, and models. Reports can also be published if
they are not too long.
2.
How do we submit these items to WebWorks Café?
It depends on the work. We often will come out to
your school to photograph or pick up the student projects. However if this
is not possible at a particular time, and if the project is something that
can be conveniently e-mailed, you can do that. If it can be photocopied, it
can be sent through standard mail or faxed. Original art can be photographed
or scanned, however if you are unsure of the quality of the reproduction, mail
or messenger the original work, and it will be safely returned to you within
several days.
3. Will
the teacher or student be notified when the work is posted?
Yes, the student will receive an attractive certificate
through the teacher to let them know that their work has been published online
and how to view it.
4.
How often can we make changes or additions to the calendars
or other pages of the website?
As often as necessary. Our goal is to maintain an
up-to-date website that will serve your school and your families. Important
changes will normally be posted upon receipt. Other updates will usually be
posted within 72 hours. Large additions, such as student projects may take
longer, but will be completed in a timely manner.
5.
What is the best way to submit calendar changes or other additions?
E-mail or
Fax to WebWorks Café. To submit through e-mail, go
to the Contact
Us page on this website or your own school website and send us the
changes. If e-mail is not easily accessible, you are welcome to call us
at (805) 492-6472 with your changes or additions, or fax them to (805) 435-3614.
Or, mail your additions, changes and student work to:
